A Pennsylvania Notary is not permitted to charge more than the published rates on the PA Department of State website for a notarial stamp. If you encounter a PA Notary Public charging more than the below rates, please contact the Pennsylvania Department of State Notary Complaints.

Many Notaries do however assess administrative fees to cover their travel or their overhead such as rent, copies, and record keeping. These fees are appropriate as long as they are indicated as separate from the State fee, and they may vary from notary to notary.

Acknowledgments - $5 per Individual

Signature Witnessing - $5 per signature
Copy Certifications - $5 per certified copy
Depositions - $5 per certified transcript
Oaths - $5 per individual taking oath
Verifications - $5
Protests - $3 per page

In addition to the fees authorized above by the state, we will apply a travel & administration fee.

Travel & Admin Cost

Monday - Saturday 10AM - 6PM

$25 for 1 to 5 miles

$50 for 6 to 10 miles

$75 for 11 to 15 miles

$100 for 16 to 20 miles

*Sunday appointment surcharge of $10
